Kid's Vacation Activity Program
School vacation weeks are the perfect time to bring the family over to the Cape Codder. Our vacation activity programs are packed full of fun for children of all ages.
This year's February 2010 Vacation week will include our popular Fun Zone packed with activities and games for kids of all ages. Featuring Wii games, Ping Pong, Board Games, Moon Walk, Magnetic Darts, as well as younger children's activities such as Crafts & Face Painting, all free of charge to our guests. In the afternoons we are offering Cookie Decorating and we will be hosting an exciting PEEK A ZOO show or get a balloon animal made by Two-time World Champions - Angela and Michael Lynn. Guests stick around for Mikey Maestro's Dance Party, a Magic Show by Magic Dave, a treat for the senses watching fast paced illusions with Jason Bishop the Illusionist, or cozy up by the Campfire with a cup of hot chocolate. Summer 2009 Activity Program
Last Summer our exciting Summer Activity Program was putting smiles on everyone's faces! We featured Arts & Crafts every day at 1:30pm and exciting new activities like Volleyball, Field Games, Ballooning and Pirate Portraits. Guests joined us daily for a special activity starting at 9:30am. Wednesdays and Fridays in the courtyard area guests watched an exciting PEEK A ZOO show with the wonderful Amy from the Zooquarium. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday we met in the Courtyard for a balloon animal made by Two- time World Champions, Angela and Michael Lynn. On Tuesday and Saturday evenings we offered an evening of great music with Cape Cod's own Hazy, Hot & Humid Band and Steve Hanlon on the patio. A wide variety of child-appropriate
movies were shown such as Chicken Little, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Shark Tales and
many more!

FIELD GAMES: The following are examples of some of our field games but we encourage you to come with your suggestions. Parachute Games, Capture The Flag, Team Games, Tug Of War, and Tag Games.
FRISBEE: Ultimate Frisbee Golf or Soccer or just a plain and simple Frisbee game.
VOLLEYBALL: Plain and simple volleyball or it could be Sheet Volleyball, Balloon Volleyball or Nukem. Maybe even a game of Soccer played with one of our fantastic soccer players.
BINGO: Match up your numbers to the balls being drawn, complete a row or a combination of rows and win a prize.
RECREATION EQUIPMENT AVAILABLE: If you would like to borrow any of the following equipment, please see a Recreation Supervisor in the pool area. Tennis Racquets, Tennis Balls, Badminton, Frisbee, Football and Soccer balls.
BOARD GAMES AVAILABLE: If you would like to borrow any of the following games, please see a Recreation Supervisor in the pool area. Backgammon, Checkers, Chess, Connect Four, Playing Cards, Scrabble, Scrabble Jr., Sorry, Trouble, Dominos, Jenga, Monopoly, Uno and Card Games.
*CRAFTS: Each day we will have a choice of either tye-dying, hemp or gymp bracelets and a surprise craft.
FACE PAINTING: Meet us at the picnic tables and have our talented staff paint your face with a variety of design choices.
BONFIRE: Nightly weather-permitting from 7:30pm to 10:00pm on our Courtyard. Marshmallows and skewers are available for purchase in the Hearth 'n Kettle or at our deck Bar.
LIVE ENTERTAINMENT: Please join us by the bonfire to sing a long with the exceptional Mikey Maestro. He and his helper Angela will be there for your entertainment between 7:30pm and 9:30pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday evenings. Don't forget to get one of their award winning balloons from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday we feature live music on our deck starting at 8pm.
COURTYARD MOVIE: Join us in the courtyard for a movie. Movies are rated G or PG; check on the activity board at the entrance to the pool hallway for daily movie.
PEEK A ZOO: Join us out by the movie screen and watch an exciting animal show with the wonderful Amy from the Zooquarium.
MEETING PLACE: Activities will be conducted in the courtyard, unless otherwise posted on the reader board by the entrance to the pool hallway.
