QUOTES FROM OUR GUESTS | QUOTES FROM OUR WEDDING/GROUP GUESTS

"We brought our two month old to try the enchanted village. It was incredible. Santa was magical!!!! He really helped out because the baby wanted no part of him. He was so patient. The Carolers were so nice!!! Wish we could have just sat and listened to them for awhile. You really have an incredible hotel. From the rooms to the service to this special package thank you for helping us create a new family tradition!"

"Our room was large with a fireplace, and the price was very reasonable. We travel on a budget so this is important to us. The room was very quiet, in good repair, and housekeeping kept it very clean. The bed was quite comfortable, which is always important to me. We stayed 8 nights, and I never once had to call for maintenance or extra towels. Loved the LCD tv with lots of channels.

My kids loved the wavepool and slides. Personally, it's not for me, but they had a blast. It was always full of kids, but I think that's to be expected. While we were there, construction was underway on a large outdoor pool and spa. They had a bonfire going near the pool on the weekend nights for marshmallow roasting. Anyway, I did go into the pool area with my kids. It was clean, there were plenty of towels, and the lifeguards were doing their job. One reviewer mentioned there being too few lifeguards. The pool rules clearly stated that children under 16 had to be supervised by an adult. Hopefully, this is common sense for parents to supervise their children. My daughter is a lifeguard in Texas (yes, she is a teenager) and it just amazes me how little attention parents pay to their kids while they're in the water! Anyway, the wavepool is one of the main reasons we chose to stay here.

The restaraunt (Hearth & Kettle). Excellent!! I ate there at least once a day. It is not what I call up-scale, but very comfortable. My favorites were the blueberry pancakes and the indian pudding. I was even picking up indian pudding at bedtime and taking it back to the room for a snack every night. The was a nicer restaurant in the same building. I ate there one night and the food was also excellent. The service was a little slow (in Grand Cru), but a large group of us came in together and over-whelmed them, I think. I prefer the main restaurant. The have their own bakery in the hotel and there were always some good sweets available in the front case. There seemed to be a lot of locals coming in, especially for breakfast. I think that says a lot! We also used room service a couple of times. The food arrived quickly and was delicious.

We used two of the meeting rooms downstairs for various functions. The Emerald room was beautiful! We had dinner in there, but it looked like it was built for very upscale weddings. Very, very nice!

Hallways, lobby, parking lot, etc. were all clean. There was a security guard making rounds at night, but this is a nice area. We never felt a need for extra security. Our group had 30 rooms and I did not hear any complaints from anyone. We were all very pleased with the facility and the way we were treated by the staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We had a few last minute requests after our arrival, and all were honored with a smile. Almost forgot to mention that the location is perfect and very convenient.

The only thing that I didn't like was the lack of a guest laundry facility. I don't like to wash clothes while traveling, but with kids, it's usually necessary. Now that the airlines are charging so much for extra luggage, it would be nice to not have to haul so many clothes on the trip.

My group (Texas ice skating team) is looking forward to returning the the Cape, and we will absolutely stay here again!"

"This hotel was like being on a cruise ship, minus the water. I loved it. I will be back in the fall for the colors. Thanks" DD, Chicago, IL

"I want you to know that we were very pleased with your people and your facility. The kids are still raving about your pool. The people we met along the way, including yourself and Karen and others, could not have been more pleasant and helpful. Our family, like many, is full of love, and I think your people understood that and enjoyed us. It has been a pleasure in every way. Please extend our thanks and appreciation to all who helped us during our Family Reunion."

“There was so much to do, we didn’t want to leave! We live only 10 minutes down the street, but our weekend at the Cape Codder felt worlds away from reality! Thank you for a fun-filled, magical getaway...our children are already begging to come back!”
~ MM, Marstons Mills, MA

“When the grandchildren come to visit in the off-season it’s a life saver to able to entertain them with the Cape Codder‘s the Indoor Wave Pool and exciting water slides. Kid’s meals and sundaes at the Hearth and Kettle top off a fun afternoon .”
~ JM, Brewster, MA

QUOTES FROM OUR WEDDING/GROUP GUESTS | QUOTES FROM OUR GUESTS

"I stayed at the Cape Codder two weeks ago for my wedding weekend. Friday night, I stayed in one of the loft suites with my sisters as part of a pre-wedding girls night. We had such fun relaxing by the fireplace, and laughing the night away. Saturday morning we got up on my wedding day and had perfect weather! We were able to have some time to enjoy a little pool time at the outdoor pool which was lovely and not crowded with screaming kids. We had a leisurely lunch at the patio bar. From there, we went back to the room where we started getting ready. We had two stylists from the Spa who came to the room to do our hair. I had done a trial with my stylist previously, so it didn't take long for us to all be beautified. From there, we went to our wedding and that night, my now husband and I spent the night together in the suite. When we returned on our wedding night, we found rose petals, champagne, and chocolate covered strawberries. It was so romantic. We had many friends staying there too which made for an easy gathering at the HnK for breakfast in the morning. All in all, we had an amazing wedding weekend and the hotel made it so nice and easy for everything. LOVE!!!" (From Trip Advisor)

"I cannot thank you enough for all of your hard work with our retreat. I received so many compliments about how wonderful your resort is, that I couldn’t keep track. I also cannot say enough about your sales staff. One example that says it all: on Friday we moved our breakout groups outside because the weather was gorgeous. Your landscapers were cutting the grass, and your sales assistant walked right over to him and asked him to stop. We have held events at 5-star venues in NYC, and did not receive that level of attention or service. Your staff was also instrumental in helping us get a last minute birthday cake, and rent crutches for one of my colleagues who wears a prosthetic leg (she forgot her crutches at home). Thank you all for you hard work and strong attention to customer service—it truly shows where you place your values. You are a great team to work with! Warmest regards"
