Cape Codder Resort - 3 Reasons To Say Yes To A Cape Cod Winter Wonderland

Enchanted Village at Cape Codder

It's that time of year! We're just a couple of short weeks away from the Cape Codder Resort being transformed into a winter wonderland. If you're a resident of Cape Cod, this has likely become a family tradition for you. If you're from somewhere else in the world, wow! Do we have a show for you! Cape Cod winters can be a beautiful sight to see. If you're thinking of flying in, but are worried about the drive, don't fret! We have a regional airport less than 2 miles away from our resort. Interested in checking flights? The airport code is HYA and it's a straight shot up 132 (Iyannough Rd) to get to Cape Codder Resort! You're in for a real treat.

Sounds of the Season

At Cape Codder Resort & Spa, we know that winter is a multisensory season. We certainly didn't forget that part of that is the tradition of carols and songs we've known since we were wee ones ourselves. No holiday tradition would be the same without a great playlist! This year, our Holiday Concerts start on December 6th at 6pm. Below, you'll see a full schedule!

Holiday Concerts Starting at 6pm; complimentary, the public is invited to share in the spirit

  • Friday, December 6: Cape Cod Surftones Holiday Concert
  • Saturday, December 7: Regency Brass Ensemble Holiday Concert
  • Saturday, December 14: Regency Brass Ensemble Holiday Concert
  • Saturday, December 21: Regency Brass Ensemble Holiday Concert

Sights of the Season

If you're a local, you already know about the spectacular sights to see at Cape Codder Resort. The dazzling glow of thousands of lights sets the mood for this nostalgic display. Topiary animals will greet you as you make your way past rows of miniature Christmas Trees and Santa's Reindeer to a Santa's Village reminiscent of an old fashioned Enchanted Village. Every Friday, from December 6th to December 20th, Santa will be waiting to greet your children and hear their holiday wishes.

Tastes of the Season

It's no secret that we have some incredible food choices at Hearth 'n Kettle. It's our long-standing tradition to provide hearty meals that remain true to the seasons and culture of Cape Cod. This time of year, we offer our apple walnut french toast and cinnamon bun pancakes. What perfect flavors for the colder weather! Have a peek at our full menu at Hearth 'n Kettle menu to see what sounds good to you!

Not looking for a full menu, but some seasonal snacks sound yummy? We've got good news for you then! Every Friday (when you bring the kids to see Santa), we'll have our fire pit roaring outside (weather permitting) just waiting for you to make s'mores. Just stop by the front desk to ask to purchase a s'mores kit. We'll also have The Deck outside open (again, weather permitting), selling cookies, hot cider and hot cholcolate to keep those hands warm and bellies full.

For all of our Massachusetts family, we hope we see you this year and in the years to come. For everyone else, if your interest in piqued, we would love to see you at this year's Enchanted Village. If you'd like to make it a whole day, we encourage you to book our Enchanted Village Overnight Package! This package includes over $100 in gift vouchers AND you'll get to use our indoor water park during the day and experience the magic of our Enchanted Village at night. We hope we see you very soon. The lights come on in our Enchanted Village on 11/30.
