Groundhog Day was earlier this month and Punxsutawney Phil didn’t see his shadow, which, as the legend goes, means we’re in for early spring! Let’s hope his prediction was right. In the meantime, February is a great month to start planning your spring getaway on Cape Cod! While the area swells to full capacity in the heat of the summer, experienced tourists and locals know that spring on the Cape bustles with the energy of renewal and offers the benefit of smaller crowds.

Dreaming of a spring wedding destination that exudes classic Cape Cod charm? Consider Hyannis, Massachusetts. Located within the town of Barnstable, Hyannis has long been considered the “heart” of Cape Cod. The picturesque village boasts beautiful sandy beaches, historic sites, a charming downtown Main Street, museums, seaside art shanties, and ample opportunities to get out on the water. Visit once and it’ll be clear why the Kennedy family spent their summers at their iconic coastal residence in Hyannis Port.
Celebrating New Year’s Eve in a big city can be fun – for those who are unfazed by gridlocked traffic, parking issues, huge crowds, overpriced hotel rooms and restaurants, and having to wait in lines for everything.
With a hear ye, hear ye, and a yo ho ho, it’s off to the Cape Codder’s Pirate and Princess Weekend we go! You are royally invited to join us for the most magical event of the year, where each pirate and princess is a star.
Halloween just a few weeks away, and for many that means picking out a costume, buying lots of fun-size candy bars, cueing a scary movie marathon, and blaring Bobby Pickett’s 1962 single “Monster Mash” (undoubtably Halloween’s unofficial theme song) on repeat. But, Halloween is also the perfect time to head somewhere that can provide all the thrills and chills that the holiday is known for! So, don your favorite costumes and get ready to trick-or-treat around the Cape Codder Resort & Spa for our fun, family-friendly Halloween celebration.
A babymoon is a vacation you take with your partner before your bundle of joy arrives. After all, it’ll only be the two of you for a few more moments, and you’ll want the chance to reconnect and make some precious memories before baby swoops in and steals away the romance… at least for a little while. This is your time to relax, be pampered, and have a good time!
Do you dream of the enchanting life of a mermaid? Do you imagine swimming under the sea with your sea creature friends, while wearing a seashell bra and brushing your hair with a fork? Wait, scratch that. A seashell bra can’t be comfortable and just think of all the knots you’d have in your hair from that fork! While “little mermaids” are the stuff of fairy tales, the Mermaid Package at the Beach Plum Spa at the Cape Codder will have you feeling like an enchanted, pampered sea goddess.
