Q: What time is check-in and check-out?

A: Check-in is at 3:00pm. Check-out is at 11:00am

Q: Is it possible to check-in earlier?

A: If your room is available when you come to check-in we will be happy to check you in early. If the room is not ready, and it is after 1pm, then we can pre-register you and give you your pool passes and meal vouchers (if applicable) so that you may use the hotel amenities while you wait for your room to be cleaned. We do not guarantee early check-in.

Q: Do you offer late check-out?

A: Late check-out requests can be made on the day of departure and are dependent on availability and hotel occupancy. A check-out time of 3:00pm or later is subject to a half day charge.

Q: Do you accept pets?

A: Unfortunately we are not a pet-friendly property. We do have some local kennels we can recommend if you would like to board your pet while you stay with us.

Q: Do I need a credit card to make a reservation? Can I pay cash for my stay?

A: We require a deposit of one night’s room and tax on a credit card at the time of booking. You may pay in cash at check-in and we can refund the credit card for the deposit but you still need to provide a valid credit card, in your name, that can be authorized $50 per night for security and incidentals. You will not be allowed to check-in to the hotel without a credit card for incidentals. There are no exceptions to this rule.

Q: I would like to pay for my friend/family’s room. What do I need to do?

A: If you are not going to be present at the time of check-in, we require a Credit Card Authorization Form to be filled out along with a copy of both sides of the credit card being used and a copy of the cardholder’s ID. This is a standard hotel policy instituted by credit card companies to protect the cardholder from fraudulent charges.

Q: Is there an age requirement to stay at the resort?

A: We require at least one guest in the room to be 21 years of age or older in order to stay with us.

Q: What is your cancellation policy?

A: Our cancellation policy is 4 days prior to the date of arrival in order to get a full refund of your deposit. Please note that special group rates or reservations booked through a third party are subject to different cancellation policies. Please consult your reservation confirmation to verify your specific cancellation policy.

Q: Do you offer smoking rooms?

A: We are proud to be a 100% non-smoking resort. We ask that any smokers please refrain from smoking on the property except at the designated areas in the parking lots. Smoking is prohibited on balconies or in our courtyard area as well.

Q: How many people can stay in one of your guest rooms?

A: Our rooms with two queen beds sleep 4 people comfortably and 5 with a cot. Our rooms with one king size bed sleep 2 comfortably or 3 with a cot. Cots are an additional $20 per night. Maximum occupancy in any of our standard guest rooms are 5 persons per the Town of Barnstable Fire Code. Our Cape Codder Residence Club units, due to their size, can sleep a maximum of 6 guests in a two-bedroom unit and 8 guests in a three-bedroom unit. There are no exceptions to this policy.

Q: I see a lower rate online, can you match the price?

A: Yes, we offer a Lowest Rate Guarantee and as long as our agent is able to verify the rate, then we are happy to honor it. Please note that this cannot be applied to flash sales such as Groupon and Living Social for contractual reasons.

Q: Do you offer Handicap Accessible rooms?

A: Yes we do have a small number of Handicap Accessible rooms that are ADA compliant; however they do not feature a roll-in shower. The showers do have a bench that spans the width of the tub to allow easy entry.

Q: Do your room rates include breakfast?

A: Our standard rates do not include breakfast however our on-site Hearth n’ Kettle restaurant serves breakfast with many of the items available all day. Our Cape Cod Family Value Package includes coupons that can be used towards breakfast and many of our other rates include coupons towards lunch or dinner. 

Q: Do you have adjoining rooms?

A: We do have a limited number of connecting rooms at the Resort. Our Reservations Department is happy to request connecting rooms and we will do our very best to honor these requests; but it cannot be guaranteed.

Q: Do your rooms have refrigerators and microwaves?

A: We do have mini-fridges in all guest rooms. Our guest rooms do not have microwave ovens – however a microwave is located in our Business Center for your convenience.

 

General Hotel Information

Q: Are you located on the water?

A: We are not located on the water but the resort is only a short drive from some of the most popular beaches in the Town of Barnstable such as Kalmus, Craigville, and Sandy Neck Beaches.

Q: How far are you from the ferries to Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket?

A: We are less than 3 miles from Lewis Bay where the Steamship Authority terminal to Nantucket and Hyline Ferries to both islands depart. If you would like to use The Steamship Authority to travel to Martha’s Vineyard, their terminal is located in Woods Hole which is 25 miles away.

Q: Does the hotel have parking on site? Is there a charge?

A: We have plenty of onsite, complimentary parking available for guests. While parking is at your own risk, Security patrols our parking lot throughout the night for your safety.

Q: Does the hotel have a shuttle to nearby attractions?

A: No, we currently do not offer a shuttle service. We are happy to call a taxi to take you to local attractions if you would like.

Q: Do you have Wireless Internet at the resort? What is the cost?

A: We offer complimentary wireless internet at the resort for all guests.

Q: I can’t get the address to work when I put it into my GPS?

A: Check your spelling of Iyannough Road to make sure that you are using an upper case “I” and not a lower case “L”. Many times this is a simple mistake that will prevent the address from showing up correctly on a GPS. If you are still having trouble, feel free to call us and we will be happy to give you directions.

Q: Are you affiliated with any rewards programs?

A: We have our own Frequent Guest Card program available that allows you to accrue points when you stay with us or visit any of our sister properties in the Catania Hospitality Group family. You can pick up a Frequent Guest Card at any of our properties.

 

Pool Information

Q: Is admission to the Cape Codder Water Park and Rainbow Falls Outdoor Pool included with a reservation or do I need to pay separately?

A: Room rates on reservations booked directly with the resort include admission to the Cape Codder Water Park and Outdoor pool for registered guests from check-in to check-out. Guests must wear wrist bands at all times when using pool facilities.  Room rates for group guests and guests who book through a third party may not include admission to the Cape Codder Water Park, but these special rates would still include use of the Outdoor pool.

Q: How long can I use the Cape Codder Water park and Outdoor Pool during my stay?

A: Resort guests have access to the Cape Codder Water park and pool from check-in until check-out. If you arrive any time after 1:00pm on the day of arrival, we are usually able to accommodate an earlier swim time. Late swim time is offered occasionally but is dependent on occupancy and determined on the day of departure.

Q: How many Cape Codder Water Park passes do I get with my room reservation?

A: Cape Codder Water Park passes are given at check-in for all registered guests in the room. The number of complimentary pool passes issued will not exceed the maximum occupancy of the guest room.

Q: Do you have to be a hotel guest to use the Cape Codder Water Park?

A: We do offer Cape Codder Water Park day passes to outside guests depending on the occupancy of the resort. When available, you can purchase Cape Codder Water Park day passes at the Front Desk of the resort or you can reserve water park passes in advance online. We do not take advance water park pass reservations at the front desk. Day pass visitors are encouraged to bring their own towels. Day pass visitors can rent a towel for $5 at check-in. Please note, the Rainbow Falls Heated Outdoor Pool is available to overnight guests only - day passes DO NOT include access to the outdoor pool.

Q: I will not be swimming. Do I still need a pass to watch my children?

A: Yes, we require all guests to wear a wristband to be in the pool areas whether or not they are swimming.

Q: Do I need to bring my own towel?

A: Overnight hotel guests are welcome to bring their own towels but we do provide towels free of charge to overnight guests at the Cape Codder Water Park and Heated Outdoor pool. We please ask that you return all towels before leaving the pool so that they be washed and used for future guests. Water Park Day Pass Visitors are encouraged to bring their own towels. Towels are available to Day Pass Visitors for a $5 rental fee and are available at check-in.

Q: What is the age policy on the hot tubs?

A: You must be 14 years or older and accompanied by an adult (18+) to use the hot tub. Young adults age 16 years or older do not require adult supervision.

Q: Is there a height requirement on the waterslides?

A: Sliders must be 48” or taller to ride the slides

Q: I went to the Outdoor Pool and the door was locked. Is it closed?

A: The Town of Barnstable requires that hotel pools have a lifeguard on duty when open. When there are no guests at the Outdoor Pool for a prolonged period of time, they may rotate to the Indoor/Outdoor Water Park to assist the other lifeguards or perform maintenance procedures and will close the pool. If any guests would like to use the pool during this time they can simply tell the lifeguards at the Indoor/Outdoor Water Park or use the phone by the door to the Outdoor Pool to contact the Front Desk and we will happily send a lifeguard over to open it up.
